The Namibia Petroleum Operators Association (NAMPOA) is excited to announce a new chapter of strategic leadership at the Namibia Petroleum Operators Association (NAMPOA).
Eduardo Rodriguez Tamayo, Country Chair of Shell Namibia, has been elected as the new Chairperson of the Board. He succeeds Klaus Endresen of BW Kudu, who has served diligently since our founding in 1992 and will continue to play an active role as a NAMPOA member.
In a proud moment for women’s leadership, Selma Usiku, Non-Executive Director at Eco Atlantic Oil & Gas, has been appointed as Vice-Chairperson.
NAMPOA also extend a warm welcome to their new Board members:
• Saave N. Nakashole – NAMCOR
• Diogo Martins – Galp
• Laurent ROCHE – TotalEnergies
Their insights will be invaluable as we work to enhance collaboration, engagement, and sector-wide growth during this pivotal time in Namibia’s upstream journey.
NAMPOA also welcome Suoma Andreas as our first Administrative Coordinator, a key step in building the Association’s internal capacity. Suoma brings 10+ years of experience in governance, compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
NAMPOA continues to champion meaningful dialogue between industry, government, and the public; because a stronger sector begins with stronger collaboration.
